This technique involves placing nails on a soft surface and then covering them with canvas to create a template. Kris then paints over this, allowing the dots created by the nails to influence the final piece, resulting in striking and curious artworks.
Kris’s style defies categorization, though he feels a kinship with surrealism. His portraits, featuring iconic figures like Marilyn Monroe and Vincent van Gogh, display a rebellious streak, incorporating bold colors and unconventional elements.
